Mikio “Mike” Yoshimine

May 2, 1922 - December 24, 2012

Mikio “Mike” Yoshimine was born on May 2, 1922 and passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 2012 at age 90 in Newark, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yaye (Flo) Yoshimine and sister, Yumiko Natsume. Mike is survived by his brother, Shig Yoshimine; sister, Hiko Nakaso; sisters-in-law. Mary Kasai, Toshi Murakami and Asako Yoshimine; brother-in-law, Fred Kasai; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike spent the last 3 ½ years with Eita, his caregiver. He enjoyed listening to music and watching the Giants and 49ers.

A private family service will be held. Donations may be made to the Berkeley Methodist United Church, 1710 Carleton St., Berkeley, CA 94703
