Dear Rachel, Kerri, Christine, Margaret and family: we are so very sad. Kathy was a great neighbor and friend. She had tremendous gifts which she shared freely with everyone. She was loving, loyal and caring toward her family and students. And, she was the absolutely BEST breakfast partner ever! I have so many happy memories over scrambled eggs and scones with lemon curd! Eternal life grant unto her, O Lord; and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Dear Kathy, I miss you every day. Today was The Woman's Day March Nationwide, which I know you were a strong believer in Rights for Humanity. I could just picture us attending a March if we were able. It brought back th e Peace March's in San Francisco during The Vietnam War . You and I walking United in our Beliefs. I'm so proud of all you achieved especially your Teaching Career. Ill miss your Classroom Stories., which were mostly humorous, sometimes a little sad. I know you were Great Teacher and The Children who were blessed to have you as your Teacher greatly benefited. You inspired me to go back to School after I was lost after Graduation. I remember your Parents Volkswagen Bug in High School You were always the driver picking up Barbara, Karen, Laurie and I up. We would cruise looking for a fun evening. Being silly Teen Girls. What good advice we could give to our 17 year old selves. Lol. Through the years we grew as Woman became Mother's and Caregivers. We lost touch for awhile but thanks to Facebook renewed our Friendship. I got to know Rachel and Kerri and saw so much of you in them. You did good Kathy. They are loving and amazing. Ill miss your Laughter, Our Girlfriend get togethers, catching up and reminiscing our Youth. I know your with your Loved Ones in Heaven. Hey, please put in a good word for me when my time comes. Love and Hugs your Amiga Debi.

One of my first memories is attending her sweet sixteen birthday party, but I have to say one of my favorite stories I would tell my customers when I worked for Zales and still tell some of my Kohls customers is when on her wedding day going to have her wedding ring ? cut off her finger during her reception. I hope all the Monsen Family good will, and peace full thoughts ? as you remember your sister, Mother, Grandmother and friend Kathy.
