Jean Christensen passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 Walnut Creek, California as the result of injuries sustained in a bicycle-pedestrian accident in El Cerrito. She was the widow of Calvin S. Smith Jr. and is survived by her children Cynthia, Mardel, Judy, Calvin and James. She has 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and many extended family relations. She was born in Logan, Utah, November 26, 1919, daughter of James Charles Holst Christensen and Mary Card.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Hilltop I Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 4351 Hilltop Drive, El Sobrante, CA. 94803. Private internment at the Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito, CA.
