Hazel A. Thorne passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 29, 2013 at the age of 94.

Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard A. Thorne. Loving mother of Robert and his wife, Jane. Devoted grandmother of Todd, Scott, Aaron, and great-granddaughter, Jocelyn.

A lifelong resident of Richmond, Hazel was a former bookkeeper and secretary. Hazel enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and family gatherings.

Friends are invited to a public visitation Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunset View Mortuary at Colusa and Fairmount Ave, El Cerrito. Interment will be private at her request.
