Gladys Madeleine Hall was born on September 7, 1926 in Sacramento, CA to Paul Chaffee Courter and Muriel Amy Courter. She passed away on Thursday, June 9th with her loving husband by her side. Gladys met and married LaVerne Hall in 1946 and enjoyed 70 years of marriage. Together they raised five children. Her family was the joy of her life. Throughout her life she created beautiful gardens and festive holiday dinners. Her memory will be forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband LaVerne, children Susan Williams and husband Stephen of Clovis, Nancy Fagan of Danville, Kevin of Pacheco, Karen Bailey and husband Frederick of Bristow, VA, and Jeff and his wife Tracy of Hickory, North Carolina. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grand-daughter.
A Graveside Service will be held at Sunset View Cemetery, junction of Fairmount and Colusa Ave.’s, El Cerrito, CA 94530 on Friday, June 17th at 2pm.
