Dolores Schwartz (nee Kuntz) passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 91. A native of
Mandon, North Dakota she was a longtime resident of El Sobrante. She is survived by her
children Leila, Melinda (Bill), Ernest (Denise) and Vernon (Debbie); grandchildren, Brandon,
Ryan (Glaucia), Travis (Marcela), Adam and Sarah; great granddaughters Layla and Mia; and
sisters Yvonne Fleck and Agnes Sneed. She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick
Schwartz and many siblings and dear family members. Dolores was a devoted mother,
grandmother and great grandmother. She was the cornerstone of her family and will be deeply
missed by those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 4-6pm with a
Rosary Service at 6pm at Sunset View Mortuary, junction of Fairmount and Colusa Avenues in El
Cerrito and a Funeral Mass on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 1pm at St. Callistus Catholic Church, 3580
San Pablo Dam Rd. in El Sobrante followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, San Pablo.
