Anna Rose Grob born on December 27, 1922, in Berkeley, California and passed away
peacefully on March 25, 2025, at the age 102. She lived a long and remarkable life
filled with travel and devotion to the things she loved.

Anna Rose graduated from the University of California Berkeley and soon after
embarked on a distinguished career with United Airlines. Over the course of 54 years
with United, she traveled the world – a fitting path for someone with such a deep
appreciation for exploration and adventure. Among all the places she visited, Seoul,
Korea held a special place in her heart.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was known for her vibrant personal life
and dedication to her community. She had a passion for gardening and took special
pride in caring for her orchids. Her green thumb extended beyond her home as she
volunteered at the Albany YMCA, where she lovingly tended to the flowers out front.
Anna Rose also was an active member of the YMCA community through regular
exercise and social engagements.

Travel remained a lifelong joy for Anna Rose, but some of her most cherished moments
were spent closer to home – eating crab and playing cards with the family and sharing
laughter across generations. Her warmth and presence left a lasting impression on
those around her.

She is remembered with love by her two nephews, Dave Grob and Ed Grob and her
niece Ann Hustead.

To honor Anna Rose’s life there will be a small memorial gathering held on Wednesday,
April 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Golden Gate Mausoleum (located on
Sunset Mortuary grounds), at 101 Colusa Avenue, El Cerrito.
