Ann arrived on December 22, 1946 and departed on May 10, 2023. She was a proud Oakland native and a lifelong East Bay resident.
She will be interred at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.
The highpoint of Ann’s life was when she heard: “Hold on – you’re having twins!”
She is survived by her very special sons, Allan and Mike, and her husband, Tom.
Ann was a good soul with a creative mind and deep, darkish senses of humor and fantasy. S
he loved animals: her after-life plan was to sprint across (or swim under) the Rainbow Bridge in lieu of standing in line at those Pearly Gates.
She also loved “Teslie” (her 2013 silver Model S), her collection of daisy tattoos, and her family.
She requested no services or gatherings in her memory.
Instead, random acts of kindness: for yourself or for someone else would be more in sync with Ann’s social style.
Donations in her name to California Autism Foundation,
Family Support Services of the Bay Area, or a spay/neuter clinic for ferals would also be appreciated.
