Angeline D’Alessio

July 27, 1918 - June 30, 2013

Angeline D’Alessio, 94, passed away at home on June 30, 2013 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas and eight brothers and sisters. She leaves behind her daughter Donna Jones (Sheldon); son Nicholas D’Alessio (Carol);grandchildren Chris, Jason (Cynthia) and Neil (Nat); great grandchildren Madison, Ayana and Amali; sisters Emma Mock and Anne Morris as well as many nieces and nephews.

A native of Nashwauk, MN. Angeline was proud to say she worked in Richmond at Shipyard 2 and served as a volunteer nurse for the Red Cross during WWII. She later worked for the Contra Costa County Sheriff Coroner’s Division for 23 years.

Services and interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to Kaiser Hospice, Kaiser Foundation Hospital, 280 W. MacArthur Blvd., Oakland CA 94611.
