My deepest condolences to Harry, Peter and Lisa, Joyce and Dina. My memories of this wonderful family start when my family and theirs both lived in Berkeley, not far from Totland Park where we met in 1968 and instantly became friends. She was a Greek immigrant from Turkey and I a first-generation Greek-American, fortunate to benefit from her wonderful Greek cooking and baking as an extra bonus of our friendship. As I look at the picture accompanying the obituary I still see the vibrant, energetic, and friendly face of Angela as I have always known her. She will be missed by all who have crossed her path. I was so pleased to see her spotlighted in the El Cerrito Recreation Publication recently. Her joy of teaching swimming and aerobics, first in Albany then until her passing , in El Cerrito, was a match made in heaven. Rest in peace, Angela. You did good.
